Instructions for a Lublu carrier

Before Use

Put on the backpack and adjust the shoulder straps for a comfortable fit. Use elastic ends of adjustment straps to roll up any excess straps.

Follow the instructions below

Unzip the side pocket where Lublu Carrier is located
Carrier instructions

Take out the Lublu Carrier from the side pocket

Unbuckle the Lublu Carrier

Open the Lublu Carrier and hold it right side up

Take the waist belt and wrap it around slightly above your hips

Buckle the waist belt and adjust for a comfortable fit

Unbuckle leg safety buckles (located behind your back)

MOST IMPORTANT STEP
Pull leg safety buckles away from your chest, so the shoulder straps hug your arms (you may hear unclipping of shoulder pads – this is okay). ***Watch this video below or click here

Here is an example of a snug fit with unclipped back shoulder pads (this prevents backpack from riding up)

Make sure you are holding your child at all times until the carrier is securely on.

Buckle one end of head support buckle to the shoulder buckle.

Ensure that the buckle is secure.

Adjust fit – do not overtighten.

Buckle the opposite head support buckle to the shoulder strap and adjust the strap for a comfortable fit – check that your child’s airways are not obstructed.

Locate the leg safety buckle on both the carrier and the bag

Buckle leg support buckles on one side

Ensure that the buckles are secure

Adjust for a comfortable fit

Perform steps 15-17 on the opposite side

Ensure that the buckles are secure

Check to make sure that the child’s airways are not obstructed and that the child’s head is above your chest

Adjust any areas as needed for a comfortable fit

Before Use

Put on the backpack and adjust the shoulder straps for a comfortable fit. Use elastic ends of adjustment straps to roll up any excess straps.

Follow the instructions below

Put on the backpack and adjust the backpack straps for a comfortable fit. Use elastic ends of adjustment straps to roll up any excess straps.

Take out the baby wrap from the side pocket and unwrap its contents

Take one end of the wrap and buckle it into backpack shoulder buckle
4
Wrap the “wrap” around your torso

Buckle the wrap to the opposite side of shoulder strap

Adjust the wrap for a comfortable fit via D-ring

Pull the wrap back and put your child’s legs through one part of “X” – always hold your baby close to your body with one hand

Pull the other side back and put the child on the other side

Expand both parts of “X” so the child is sitting comfortably

Wrap the belt around your baby for a comfortable, snug fit

Tie the belt around your waist

You can either tie the belt in the back or in the front

Double check that your child is comfortable, and the airway is not obstructed

how to Fold a Lublu Baby Carrier

Before Use

Lay the carrier face down

Follow the instructions below

In the belt, fold in belt area (green boxes) and buckles towards the center

Top right - fold in head support buckle down towards the middle

Top left, fold in head support buckle down towards the middle

Bottom belt  - fold belt area up

Top– fold top down

Bottom – fold belt area up one more time

Fold carrier vertically so both buckles meet on one side

It should look like this

Connect buckles together

Now your carrier is ready to be stored away

resetting the backpack after carrier

After you remove the carrier/wrap, it is important that you reset the backpack by releasing the hold of the shoulder wraps. This allows you to feel like the backpack turns back into a backpack. Please watch the video below and practice!

Please note that there is a learning curve and most people master this by 5th to 10th use. It's kind of like potty training, it takes time and patience.

There is a learning curve to using lublu. The more you practice, the easier it gets!
